Well,

I've been suffering with my shoulders big time and havn't been able to bath the big black smelly fiend that is our labrador. Well, today I summoned the strength to brush and clip the monster who then looked lovely but still smelly!!!

Following this, my hubby, despite his asthma, which really sets off with fur, grabbed the smelly black beast, got it to jump in the bath itself! and gave it a good bath and shower!!!

by some miracle, his asthma didnt flare up and now the dog smells clean and lovely.......I think someone was watching out for him!

We are supposed to bath the dog with special shampoo every 4 weeks as it has dermatitis (which is now controlled on meds...which do cost an arm and a leg). Said dog also has epilepsy and we are over the moon as it has not had a fit for 6 months...yipee...

So...following our SAS doggy mission, my bathroom has now fur lined tiles and a deep clean is underway......

What a to do!!!!!

Ellie x

I bathed three of my pack of four this morning, such a mammoth ask but they do smell MUCH better!!! the two puppies roll in all sorts of unspeakable stuff, and expect me to make them welcome in the lounge!!!

Well done Ellie, ThumpUp

It must be the week for dog baths BigGrin

Yesterday, Trudy Scrumptious rolled in something awful and I had to bath her. But .... she is only little and I have a very deep sink, so she goes in there. I just have to keep my hand on her so that she doesn't jump out. I've had her for 20 months now and it's only the 3rd bath she's had. She is normally a very clean little dog - but they just seem to LOVE disgustingly smelly things! Scared
